This October we celebrate the 100th World Mission Day since its establishment in October 1927 by Pope Pius XI.
All Saints has been twinned with Notre Dame de Lourdes in Haiti since 2000. St. Mary's in Vinton joined in 2004, St. John the Baptist in 2013, and now St. Ludmila and St. Pius X are joining through the Cedar Rapids Area East Pastorate.
For 26 years, this partnership has helped support 17–24 chapel schools and salaries for 68 teachers, serving approximately 3,200 students each year. Annual fundraisers have supported education in Haiti since 2003.
As our pastorate grows, we look forward to answering questions and welcoming more people into this relationship of faith and service.
If you see a student picture, please take it home and pray for their education, health, and future. When we visit, the students tell us they pray for us, too. What a blessing to share in each other's prayers.
Give online through All Saints Church Center and select “Haiti” from the fund dropdown. You may also contribute through the collection basket. Make checks payable to All Saints with HAITI in the memo line.
